Q: How do we get started on a Website?

A: Contact the A5.com sales staff via email at sales@a5.com or by phone at 1.866.725.3725 and arrange a meeting. We can then discuss your goals, explore your options and otherwise get acquainted.

Q: How does my site get on the Web?

A: A5.com will store all of the files that make up your web site on one of our servers (unless you have arrangements with another organization.) These servers run 24/7 and have a very fast connection to the Internet.

Q: How do I get my site address? (www.mycompany.com)

A: You can register your domain name with A5.com for $15/year. We register names at a discounted price through Enom, and provide you with full control over your domain via Web forms on our site. Your A5.com sales representative can assist you in selecting your name and getting it registerd.

Q: How long will it take to get my company on the Web?

A: That depends. We will have to evaluate the size and complexity of the site you want. We can create a target date at that point. Let us know what your goals are and we will work to meet them.

Q: What do you require from my company in developing the site?

A: A5 Dev will require things like logos, photographs, biographical information, etc. It would be best if you had a dedicated contact person for these matters who can summarize your company's site ideas.

Q: What if we want to change something later?

A: A5 Dev values the relationships we establish with our clients and will be available for whatever services you may require in the future.

Q: Can we handle our own site maintenance/updates?

A: Every site we develop and store on our servers are fully accessible to the client. We can offer a couple different methods for you to use. We can even do basic training of your personnel if you'd like.

Q: Do we need to purchase any hardware or software?

A: In 95% of the cases, no. The hardware and software we use in developing and housing the typical web site are provided by A5.com.

Q: What are my total expenses in doing a web site?

A: Development costs: A5 Dev will charge a flat fee for web site development or hourly rates for special work. Housing costs: A5.com or any other host will charge a monthly fee for storing the site and making it available on its severs. Domain name: A5.com will charge a yearly fee for use of the www.mycompany.com. Please call for current rates on all these services.

Q: Can we . . . on our site?

A: A5 Dev can do many things other web development houses simply cannot. Do not limit your goals by what you think is possible. Ask every 'Can this be done?' question that comes to mind. The Internet changes every day and we understand that you may not be very familiar with it. Let us meet the challenge.
