Our History (briefly... it is relevant)
A5 Dev started in Web development back in 1996 as a division of Central Illinois' premier Internet
Service Provider, Dave's World. Then called DWWDG (Dave's World Web Development Group), we
formed to provide Web development services for Dave's World clients at a time when there were not
many options available and demand was exploding.
In 1998, Dave's World was acquired by RMI.NET. Over two and a half years we continued to work in
the Web development market of Central Illinois under the banner of GLR LABS. Finally, in late 2001
the company (last known as IC&C) downsized our entire region and shortly thereafter disolved
entirely.
In November of 2001, a group of key players from the original Dave's World started
a new company called A5.COM. With one founding member of DWWDG and a couple other
long standing members of the group, we now offer our services as A5's internal Web Development team.

Current Status
A5 Dev is just a marketing name for the Web Development services offered at A5. We operate from
the A5 Headquarters and Network Operations Center located in downtown Bloomington, IL. Our staff
(amazingly enough) is composed entirely of veterans from the original Dave's World/DWWDG crew,
including one of the founding members of DWWDG back in '96. Despite some identity crisis over the years, this company and
staff stand as one of the (if not THE) oldest and most experienced Web Development houses
in all of Central Illinois.
Besides doing commercial Web Development for our own clients, we are frequently called on to
provide database integration solutions and other higher level programming for the Web by individuals
as well as other Webhouses.
